Exensor is looking for a driven and proactive Sales Manager

Exensor Technologies was founded in 1987 and is a world leading supplier of Networked Unattended Ground Sensor Systems providing tailored sensor solutions to military and civilian world wide.

Due to positive trends in the market and the need for increased sales power, Exensor is now expanding the Sales team hiring a Sales Manager based in Lund, Sweden.

Job description

As a Sales Manager at Exensor your main responsibilities will be to define, initiate, maintain and develop key important contacts and sales leads within existing and new customers community. You continuously establish and maintain contact to stake holders in Exensor and business partners' networks and you will be responsible for the full sales cycle within nominated market segments. Geographical market areas could be Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe and the US.

Your daily working tasks will include;

  • Creating new Sales leads
  • Preparing and conducting presentations / demonstrations
  • Preparing proposals
  • Carry out contract negotiations
  • Prepare and be responsible for market budget / sales prognosis in your dedicated markets
  • Provide feed-back on customer needs to the organization and evaluate in close cooperation with the engineering department (support technical development activities).

As part of your job you plan and execute product demonstrations to the relevant military and civilian parties, including explaining the technical, operational and financial benefits of Exensor’s products to the customer.

In your sales role you manage the full sales cycle, from creating the initial leads up to implementation of contract and maintaining customer relations through out the life cycle.

You will report directly to the Vice President Sales&Marketing. The job position requires approx. 50-100 national/international travel days annually.

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this position, you have a masters degree in Sales & Marketing or a degree in Mechanical-, Electrical-, Computer Science or equivalent. Alternatively or complementary you have a background within the Military sector, with a documented clear interest and understanding of technically complex solutions and a drive and skill in convincing other people in a product/solution superior capabilities.

You have minimum three - five years of experience in a similar role in related industry and proven international experience in sales of technically complicated products or solutions (whole cycle sale). It is an advantage if you have experience from sales within the military procurement sector. It is of great importance that you have completed contract negotiations at an international level and qualified sales experience to public organizations or companies where the purchasing decision is influenced by political attitudes and national interests. Moreover, you must possess the ability to understand and convey technical elements in a product.

You will use English as business language and fluency in a Scandinavian language (preferable Swedish) would be a strong preference. The job consists in daily use of Microsoft Office programs and Sugar as a CRM.
