Supply Planner for Royal Canin in Copenhagen

Royal Canin is looking for a Supply Planner to be placed at our Nordic HQ in Copenhagen (Ørestad). The role

As Supply Planner you will ensure continuity of supply of products, from source of manufacture to warehouse, in order to achieve a smooth route to market. You support all markets across Nordics.

You will be part of a tight team consisting of five planners and two student workers and you will report to the Nordic Logistics Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Daily managing the supply chain and logistic operations effectively and efficiently to timely meet customer demands (purchase from factory based on forecast, make sure transport is carried out efficiently and on time, order adjustments etc.)
  • Ensure accurate real time stock picture is available in Navision
  • Drive efficient stock management ensuring inventory levels meet target levels
  • Maximize product availability to support customer service targets
  • Build and maintain strong operational relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Participate and lead projects linked to our supply process
  • Maintaining accurate master data in Navision

You are playing a key role in making sure our inventory process is aligned with the S&OP process. This is a role where you will handle a mix of operational and administrative tasks as well as being involved in strategic projects – we are looking for you who thrive in doing both.

You will be a great match to the position if you have…

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within logistics, economics or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience from similar tasks in manufacturing, retail supply chain, logistics planning/coordination, inventory planning etc.
  • Fluent English skills and preferably an additional Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish), Polish or French
  • Experience from a multinational environment (preferable)
  • FMCG background
  • Experience from working in ERP-systems (Navision preferably)
