Key Account Manager with experience from pharma industry to Univar Solutions!

Job description and main responsibilities

As Key Account Manager at Univar Solutions your main focus is to run and grow the assigned part of the pharmaceutical, veterinary, nutraceutical and medical devices business in the Nordic territory. As a Key Account Manager your main responsibilities will be to define, maintain and develop key important contacts and sales leads within existing and new customers community. In your sales role you manage the full sales cycle, from creating the initial leads up to implementation of contract and maintaining customer relations throughout the life cycle. You will position Univar Solutions as a most valuable supplier through a professional approach, service-oriented mindset and your ability to see the customers’ needs and expectations.

Your daily working tasks will include:

  • Develop strong relationships with customers and with collaborators within Univar Solutions organization
  • Creating new sales leads and carry out contract negotiations
  • Documentation in our CRM-system Sales Force
  • Continuously keeping updated about the product and market
  • Prepare and be responsible for market budget / sales prognosis in your dedicated markets

You will be a part of a Nordic Team and collaborate with customer service, sales manager and product managers within Univar Solutions organisation. You will report directly to the Regional Business Manager. The position includes 80-120 days of travelling per year.

Candidate profile

To be successful in this position you need to have minimum five years of experience in a similar role and experience of working in the pharma industry. You have a post-secondary or a university degree preferably in pharmaceutical, chemical science or equivalent. Experience of working in an international environment and distribution experience is advantageous. Driver’s licence is required. You are fluent in English and fluency in a Scandinavian language would be a strong preference.
